Infrared in the Lake District

Posted by Lifechooser (admin)

I took this set of photos using a converted Canon 300D while on holiday in the Lake District. Unfortunately there were no summery leaves to play with, but I am very pleased with the resulting photos.

I borrowed the camera from a friend, and details of the conversion of his camera can be found on his blog. ‘Strangeparty – converting a 300D to infrared’

This is also my first real post, please let me know what you think of the blog, the gallery software, and the ability to post comments.

  1. I love the lightbox stuff on all the pics – did you have to do that by hand when posting the pics?

  2. It’s all done with the nextgen gallery plugin. I want to disable the PicLens part, it seems to upscale the image which can make parts jagedy.
